REACTIVE REHAB 1.0 Course $599
This is the start of your new life with your reactive dog.
With this course you will be able to have a well behaved happy confident dog that doesn’t pull on the lead and you can easily walk past other dogs. You'll even be able to even go for a coffee confidently, yep you heard right, all in just 6 sessions!
Many reactive dogs really don't get to live the life they deserve, here is where we help you gain the confidence and skills you need so you and your dog can live a better life together.
In this course you will learn how dogs learn and think, how to use markers, the importance of timing in dog training, how to stop reactivity, how to help your dog be calmer and happier, how to deal with off leash dogs and your legal responsibility if something does go wrong. We also teach you how to prevent and stop a dog fight, how to help your dog focus on you, how genetics impacts your dog’s behavior and how to help your dog deal with their environment in a better more productive way, plus much more!
Your dog will be able to do all the basic commands like:
LEAVE IT,
SIT,
DOWN,
STOP
and will learn to stay on their PLACE
they will also learn LOOSE LEASH walking
and how to listen in high distraction environments with dogs and people in close proximity.
And with our bonus extra off leash course you will learn how to have complete control of your reactive dog off leash, so they can live the life they was meant to with freedom and fun, all while you are still in control. So make sure you add this on to your course. (See below for more information.)
Please note: the first session goes for around 2 hours and the other sessions for around 1hr.
Equipment you will need:
A slip collar or slip leash (will be provided and is included in the price).
A muzzle. (We have 3 different types available please contact us for a time to get fitted before the course starts so you have enough time to muzzle train before the course starts.)
Raised metal frame dog bed (no soft pillows),
Flat Collar & Training collar (eg are metal choker collar or pinch/prong collar. Type of collar is dependent on whether your dog is already pulling hard on a flat collar. If you have a small dog, like a Shitzu or Maltese that doesn’t pull on the leash much a flat collar might be fine as you will be getting a slip collar included anyway. No matter what collar you will use, the dog will learn quickly how to stay on a loose lead and will not hurt or choke themselves using any type of collar. Please contact us for more information if your not sure what collar to use. Absolutely no harnesses are to be used in training as they are ineffective for necessary directional work.)
Normal flat leash 1.6-1.8m long, no or short bungee leashes. We have double handled ones available for sale at the course for $15.

2.0 OFF LEASH EXTRAS COURSE $280
Want total control of your off leash dog?
The 2.0 Off Leash Extras course will allow you to have reliable control of your dog off leash in any situation. You will learn how to have competition level results. This course will automatically lead on from the 1.0 course and runs for 3 weeks and we highly recommend you do this with your reactive dog. Everything you have learnt in the Reactive Rehab 1.0 Course will be implemented and tested in high distraction environments and in close proximity to dogs and people. This is not a stand alone course for new clients and must be done in conjunction with the 1.0 Reactive Rehab Course.

REACTIVE REHAB COURSE
For dogs over 6+ MTHS
6 SESSIONS OVER 7 WEEKS
IMPORTANT: THIS COURSE DOES NOT RUN EVERY WEEK, THIS COURSE WILL BE ON WEEK 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 & 8.
You will need:
- 10m Light weight long line leash (provided & included in course price, )
- 1.8m normal long leash (approximate length but no stretch/bungee leashes)
-Slip leash (provided and included in course price.)
- flat collar, metal choker or pinch/prong collar/halti if you have a strong pulling dog. Speak to us for the best option for you. (We have metal chokers available for $30 or please buy at pet store. Pinch collars may be available and are $40 or please buy a Herm Sprenger type with a live ring. If a different brand absolutely cannot have any sharp prongs on the collar. If you start training and your dog is unreactive to the metal choker correction you will need a pinch collar.)
- Muzzle. Muzzles should allow the dog to pant freely and the basket style ones are great as they can drink as well as be fed treats though them. If you need a muzzle we have them available for $30. You should muzzle train your dog prior to attending the course. Our recommendation is to do this for approximately 3 weeks to slowly acclimatize them to the muzzle.

- Raised bed (metal frame and material, make sure it doesn't slide around or put on stoppers or rug. If see through material you will need to put a blanket or equivalent on the bed).
- Tug with handles and/or ball with rope (or any toy they can tug with, throw and you are happy to carry around out and about).
- You'll also need lots of dogs treats (or use their normal dry food if very food motivated).
